Itinerary
Hotel arrival transfer and briefing on reserve regulations and conservation parameters.
Scenic highway drive along the Trishuli River valley corridor to Pokhara.
Overland drive through the Mid-Hills highway network to the large valley trading hub of Burtibang.
Climb past traditional farmlands into the grand mountain plateau plain of Dhorpatan.
Visit local ancient monasteries and observe traditional life in the isolated Tibetan refugee camps.
Ascend the open valleys through rhododendron and oak woodlands toward the base of the pass.
Climb Phagune Peak (3,900m) for panoramic views over the reserve and Dhaulagiri.
Walk across wide alpine meadows and past local forest marshes down to Gurjaghat.
Descend back down through agricultural terrace communities to rejoin the road head.
Overland highway transfer back to Pokhara for a hot shower and lake dinner.
Return transfer to Kathmandu to connect with international flights.
